Why is it necessary to equip inspection boxes for safety testing

According to GB/T 18268.1-2010 Electromagnetic Compatibility Requirements for Electrical Equipment for Measurement, Control and Laboratory Use Part 1: General Requirements, safety testers, as laboratory and industrial measuring equipment, must have the ability to perform functional verification and accuracy calibration. The inspection box is a standardized and reproducible verification tool to achieve this requirement, ensuring the reliability, compliance, and traceability of test results as a technical guarantee measure.
How to choose a safety inspection box
1. Choose commonly used parameters. For example, the customer’s voltage withstand test parameters have always been AC1800V, 5mA, 60s. When purchasing the click box, you can choose a voltage resistant inspection box with 1800V and 5mA.
2. Choose according to the national standard requirements of the tested product. For example, the customer is a household appliance manufacturer that complies with the GB 4706.1-2023 standard and requires a test voltage of 1500V (twice the rated voltage+1000V) and a current of 5mA. A 1500V, 5mA voltage withstand point inspection box can be selected according to this requirement.

How to use the inspection box
1. First, check the operating precautions below the inspection box and confirm whether the parameters of the inspection box received are consistent with those purchased directly.
2. According to the parameter requirements of the operating precautions for the inspection box, set the corresponding parameters for the instrument
3. Connect the instrument testing line to the inspection box. For example, take the pressure resistant inspection box as an example. The high-voltage circuit terminal of the voltage tester is connected to the common terminal of the inspection box; Connect the high-voltage output terminal of the voltage tester to the qualified terminal first, and then switch to the alarm terminal after testing.
4. Start the instrument to test the qualified end and output a pass signal. After switching to the alarm end, the buzzer of the instrument will sound and the instrument will report an over leakage. Prove that the instrument is functioning properly.
